Jeff Udvarhelyi (ood-var-hay-lee) is the founder and creator of Unstranger Danger.

He has been in law enforcement in Southern California for almost 20 years. He is passionate about his position as an expert investigator in the field of child physical abuse, child sexual exploitation, online child enticement and child sexual assault.

Jeff has served as the lead detective in hundreds of complex child abuse investigations during his career, and served as a member of the San Diego ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children) Task Force, FBI’s CETF (Child Exploitation Task Force) and was previously cross-sworn as a Special Deputy US Marshal.

A Result of God’s Grace

Jeff has been an eye witness to the complex tragedies of child physical and sexual abuse while walking beside hundreds of children and their families during some of the darkest moments of their lives. He is determined to open up the difficult but necessary conversation about child sexual abuse in our society with the end goal being more prevention, smoother investigations, more painless prosecutions, and full restoration for the victims.
